This page lists that work and the terms under which we use it. It is an acknowledgement, not a formality — a great deal of what makes KareGO possible was written by people who gave it away. If you believe we have used something without proper attribution, or without the right to do so, write to legal@karego.ai and we will correct it promptly.
1. Open-source software
KareGO uses open-source components in the mobile app and on our servers. Each is used under its own licence, and those licences remain in force.
A complete, current list of every open-source component in KareGO, with its full licence text, is available in the app under Settings → About → Open Source Licences. You can also request it at legal@karego.ai and we will send it to you.
We publish the complete list rather than a summary because a partial list is a form of non-compliance, and because licence obligations do not become optional at scale.

Copyright in each component remains with its respective authors. Nothing on this page transfers or claims ownership of it.
2. Artificial intelligence models
KareGO's text, vision and speech recognition models run on our own servers rather than through an external provider.
Where we use models released under open or community licences, we comply with the attribution, notice and use conditions those licences impose. The models in use, their providers and their licence terms are listed in the app under Settings → About → AI Models, and that list is kept current as models change.
Our models run on our own servers. This is set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection pages.
3. Apple
KareGO is distributed through the Apple App Store and uses Apple platform services including HealthKit, PassKit (Apple Wallet) and the Apple Push Notification service.
Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, iPad, App Store, Apple Health, Apple Wallet and Face ID are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc.
Apple is not a sponsor of KareGO and has not reviewed, approved or endorsed its content beyond the App Store review process. Apple is not responsible for KareGO and provides no warranty in respect of it.
4. Google
KareGO uses Google Maps Platform to help you find nearby pharmacies, laboratories, vaccination points and screening centres.
Map data © Google. Use of Google Maps within KareGO is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Attribution is displayed wherever Google mapping data appears in the app.
KareGO also uses Google Firebase for crash reporting and technical diagnostics. Google, Google Maps and Firebase are trademarks of Google LLC.

5. Other service providers
The following companies provide services within KareGO. Their names and marks belong to them, and their inclusion here does not imply endorsement of KareGO by them.
- DigitalOcean — hosting and storage (DigitalOcean is a trademark of DigitalOcean, LLC)
- Resend — transactional email (Resend is a trademark of Resend, Inc.)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (RevenueCat is a trademark of RevenueCat, Inc.)

6. Medical and clinical information
KareGO's screening reminders, adult immunisation schedules and plain-language explanations draw on publicly available clinical guidance, including material published by national health authorities, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and the World Health Organization.
Where guidance differs between countries, we follow the guidance applicable to the country in your profile. Where sources conflict or a recommendation is contested, we say so rather than picking one silently.
These organisations do not endorse KareGO, have no association with us, and are not responsible for how their guidance is presented in the app. Clinical guidance changes; we update our content but cannot guarantee it reflects the most recent revision at any given moment.
KareGO does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Typefaces and icons
Typefaces and icon sets used in KareGO are licensed for the use we make of them, either under open-source licences or under commercial licence. Where an open-source licence applies, it appears in the full list in the app.
8. Trademarks of others
Names of medications, medical devices, laboratories, healthcare providers and other organisations may appear in KareGO — in documents you upload, in medication records, and in search results. These names remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance is descriptive. It does not imply any association with, sponsorship of, or endorsement of KareGO, in either direction.
9. KareGO's own marks
KareGO and the KareGO logo are trademarks of Lumivant LLC. The KareGO application, its interface, and its original content are protected by copyright and remain our property, as set out in our Terms of Service.
10. Notice and correction
If you are a rights holder and believe KareGO has used your work incorrectly, without attribution, or without permission, contact legal@karego.ai with:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the work concerned;
- where in KareGO it appears;
- the correction you are seeking.
We will acknowledge within 5 business days and act promptly where the claim is well founded. We would rather fix an attribution than argue about one.
